A versatile and beautifully engineered dining solution, the table extends from an intimate round four-seater to an elegant oval capable of seating six to eight guests.
It includes two 55 cm extension leaves:
- one with an apron for a seamless look in its standard configuration,
- the other without an apron for maximum seating flexibility.
Fully extended, the table reaches an impressive 225 cm in length — ideal for family gatherings, dinner parties, or entertaining on a larger scale.

Condition: It’s in good vintage condition with only very minor, age-appropriate signs of wear. It has been gently refurbished and refinished, some very light veneer loss on the one leaf top, though it doesn't compromise the piece's overall integrity, please see photos for detail.
The teak surface shows a warm, even tone with light wear consistent with age and careful use. The frame remains sturdy and well-balanced. Legs are in excellent condition with no structural concerns. Any subtle signs of age remain discreet and do not detract from the overall presentation.

Designer Profile: Kai Kristiansen (b. 1929)
One of the defining voices of Danish modern design, Kai Kristiansen trained under the legendary Kaare Klint at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts before establishing his own studio in the 1950s. His work is celebrated for its clarity of line, ergonomic intelligence, and meticulous craftsmanship.
Kristiansen designed for several leading Danish manufacturers — including FM Møbler, Schou Andersen, Feldballes Møbelfabrik, and Vildbjerg Møbelfabrik — producing some of the era’s most recognisable furniture forms. From his sculptural Model 42 chairs to his modular wall units and refined dining tables, his pieces combine practicality with an uplifting sense of elegance.
Today, Kristiansen's work is highly sought after by collectors for its enduring quality and the distinctive, human-centred approach that defines his contribution to mid-century design.
