A Mid-Century Pendant — Three Configurations, One Considered Form
A striking mid-century Scandinavian ceiling pendant composed of three opal glass shades suspended from a sculpted teak armature. The architectural arrangement creates a sense of balance and lightness, while the opaline glass diffuses the light softly and evenly. The original green woven cord shades - as diffusers, each banded with a brass ring at the waist, lift on and off and sit at two heights — dropped to the middle for a lantern-like form, or raised to the top of the cones for something more sculptural. Removed altogether, the glass cones reads clean and minimal. Three presentations from one fitting.
