    Double-sided desk with a very handy bookshelf at the back. It is beautifully crafted and designed, an absolutely exquisite piece. The wood grain and colour are beautifully active in light.

     

    This is the last one of these exquisite desks in our collection, the most beautiful wood grain, we left the best one for last ;)  

    A rare heirloom piece that will last a lifetime. Beautifully designed and made, a real collector’s piece and investment.

    The Binnehuis furniture stores were located in Cape Town and Somerset-West, and were owned by a Dutch businessman and his wife, Mr and Mrs van Ewijck, who moved between South Africa and the Netherlands. It seems they were most prolific during the 1960s

     

    Imbuia is not listed in the CITES Appendices, but is classified as “Vulnerable” on the IUCN Red List of Threatened Species.
