A set of six mid-century teak dining chairs, Danish workshop production, circa 1960s — designed in the spirit of Finn Juhl's celebrated Model 108, one of the defining chair forms of the Danish modern period.

Each chair is immediately recognisable as a product of that tradition: a generously curved backrest that appears to float independently of the seat, tapered teak legs with characteristically organic shaping, and a cross-braced under-frame that adds visual rhythm without weight. The backrest is secured to the frame with new solid brass fittings — a detail that rewards close attention and speaks to the quality of the original construction. The design echoes Finn Juhl's pioneering concept of separating the "carried" and the "carrying" elements of a chair, allowing the upholstered components to appear almost suspended within the wooden framework. The result is a chair that is both remarkably comfortable and visually sophisticated.

A cohesive, beautifully presented set — a sophisticated and timeless addition to a considered contemporary interior or a dedicated mid-century dining room.

About the Model 108 Reference Finn Juhl's Model 108, designed in 1946 for Bovirke, is among the most influential Danish dining chairs of the mid-century period — distinguished by its floating backrest, its separation of structural and supported elements, and its characteristic sense of visual lightness. These chairs draw clearly from that tradition, sharing its organic sensibility and refined proportions, while representing the broader output of skilled Danish workshop production of the era.
