Rare and Iconic Mid-Century Frystark (SA) sideboard.
Part of their 'Status' Danish-inspired range, 1960’s
Frystark was a local manufacturer during the 60's and produced high-quality furniture based on Danish designs.
“Status Range sideboards may be used as room dividers, they look as good from the back as they do from the front” - Frystark Status Range Catalogue.
Sideboard with sliding doors and four drawers on the signature tapered legs. It has a beautiful russet Sapele Mahogany veneer finish and solid frame with sculpted recessed drawer pulls. The top drawer is lined and divided for cutlery.

In very good vintage condition. Discreet traces of time and use, please see photos. We have carefully refurbished and refinished the wood. Structurally sound. Our dedicated restoration team employs respectful and careful, in-house conservation techniques. We prioritize preserving the distinct character and patina of each vintage piece.
