Bendt Winge (1907–1983) was among Norway's most prolific mid-century designers, working across furniture, interiors, and exhibition design, and collaborating with several of the country's leading workshops. The "Tixi" folding tray table was produced by Aase Dreieri of Ganddal, a Norwegian maker known for finely engineered small furniture. Winge's pieces are increasingly sought after by collectors of Nordic mid-century design and appear regularly on specialist international platforms.

Marks: Original Aase Dreieri maker's label presentCondition: Presented in good vintage condition, gently restored and refinished in our workshop. The wood displays a warm, even tone with light surface wear and minor marks consistent with age and use. The folding mechanism is sound and operates smoothly. Original brass carry handles are intact. A well-preserved and highly functional example, retaining its original maker's label.
As with all vintage pieces, subtle signs of age remain and contribute to their character.
Like many well-made mid-century pieces, this one combines solid wood with a quality veneer — a considered choice of the era, used to showcase the finest grain while ensuring the piece moves and settles as the timber intends.
