Mid-Century teak oval drop-leaf gate-leg table
by Jentique, UK
Vintage oval drop-leaf gate-leg table dining table in teak. Made in England, c1960. Although this piece lacks specific manufacturer markings or attribution, it is highly probable that it was made by Jentique, UK.
It has a clever design, sturdy construction, and collapses down to be stored away in small spaces. The four legs to support the leaves pivot out with each side forming an X. An elegant design in an iconic Scandinavian style and impeccable quality with a beautiful warm Burmese teak grain.
The table is a gateleg drop leaf making it a great space saver and very functional. You can extend one leaf to seat two people and extend both to seat 4 people comfortably. The space-saving table is sturdy and in good working order.
