Mid-Century Modern Kiaat extendable oval dining table and 6 chairs.
Both the table and chairs feature a timeless design, beautiful kiaat wood grain and impeccable workmanship. The table has an oval shape and can extend to an eight-seater oval table. The top slides apart to allow the addition of the folding butterfly leaf to seat 8. The 6 matching chairs have a sophisticated design featuring a solid kiaat wood frame with curved back supports and circular seats.
The chairs and table are structurally very sound and sturdy. The table and chairs have been gently restored & sealed and the set is in great vintage condition. The chairs have been re-upholstered in high-quality Hertex Fabric, featuring a Martindale rub count of 50 000 and is easy to clean (with water only).
As with mostly all Mid-Century pieces, it is a good combination of solid wood and a high-quality wood veneer.
