1950’s Bakker & Steyger Beechwood dining-room suite

Mid-century Bakker & Steyger (SA) round to oval extendable dining table in a light Beechwood with 5 bent back chairs. The style of the table is very similar to that of Skaraborgs Möbelindustri, Tibro, Sweden.

The table features a sleek, minimalist design with tapered legs and clean lines. The set includes five matching beechwood chairs, each featuring a comfortable and ergonomic design. The beautiful beechwood grain is highlighted by the clean, minimalist lines, giving this set a timeless look that will complement any dining area, sure to become a treasured family heirloom for generations to come.

Dimensions:

Table: H73,5 x D114 x W151,5 open | 114 closed (cm)

Condition: Overall very good vintage condition. It has been refurbished and refinished. The original vinyl upholstery on the chairs are still in good condition. But like all vintage pieces you do have to expect some minor signs of wear after some 50 years in the form of small veneer chips on the sides that have been smoothed and sealed.

'As with most Mid-Century pieces, it is a good combination of solid wood and a high-quality wood veneer.'
